South End Adventures
Top & Boots, Madewell / Jeans, Levi's / Coat, Nautica
I've lived in the city for almost four years now and I have not explored much of the South End until this past year. I find that it's often pretty quiet, but maybe I'm not going at the right times? I don't mind though because I get to appreciate passing by many new shops and restaurants (specifically Frenchie, that I will have to beg my boyfriend to take me to later on). One of my favorite discoveries was a plant shop, called Niche Urban Garden Supply and it was love at first sight, let me tell you. Not only was the aesthetic all that I could ever ask for, but also walking in the store made me feel oddly v at peace and happy. They have everything a millennial city girl could possibly dream of: twinkle lights, succulents, a pink wall, and white & tan everything else. We also happened to be exploring during ~golden hour~ which is my favorite hour, and it should be yours too.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I would have to agree. In this day and age, it’s tough to balance documenting memories, and truly living in the moment. You either regret not taking enough photos or you regret experiencing something amazing through the viewfinder of your iPhone. At the end of the day, I say why not take pictures because one day my memory will not be as strong as it is now. So here’s to instant photos and weekend walks through the South End that are truly better with (you). 🐻
