“It was epic…”
I haven’t posted a blog post in forever and since I am sure that you are sick of hearing/seeing my trip to “Mystic Falls”, I figured why not go out with a bang and dedicate an entire blog post (that nobody asked for) to my weekend trip to Georgia! So here it goes…
If you don’t know by now, I am mildly obsessed with the vampire diaries. Ok, very obsessed. I honestly don’t know what it is but it’s one of those shows that I can watch over and over again and never get tired of. Now with the hope of summer around the corner hopefully my days will be spent enjoying the sunshine and not hiding out watching Netflix. But until New England gets its act together, you can bet I will be reliving my experience in “Mystic Falls” aka Covington, GA through TVD.
Aside from seeing the town square, the iconic clock tower, and of course dining at the grill (a few times in one day I might add) Georgia in it of itself is a BEAUTIFUL place. While I only really saw Athens, I have to say the whole time driving with the windows down all I could smell was flowers. I kid you not it felt like I was driving through a flower field and I definitely didn’t hate it. Could it be that my dream of becoming a true Parisian might change to that of a southern belle? Only time will tell.
Next on my list is the Carolina’s because when you’re only 1 year post-grad, world traveling doesn’t come easy (unless you’re my boyfriend), so the states will have to do. Until next time, friends!
